Living Wall Conference Volunteer Orientation : 08/12/2017 – Living Walls, The City Speaks, is an annual conference on street art and urban ism. The conference will be 9/8-9/17/2017. This year, they will be partnering with We Love BuHi to bring installations and art to the Buford Highway area in the hopes of highlighting a place so rich in multicultural diversity. Hope World Wide REVAMP After School Program: REVAMP serves underprivileged youth ages 6-12 who attend Title I schools, with approximately 50% of those students receiving free or reduced-price meals each day. The Helpful Hot Dog: The Helpful Hot Dog is a weekly nonprofit event along the Beltline entrance of Ponce City Market. They team up with guest chefs from Atlanta to help prepare and sell specialty hot dogs every Saturday from 12-3pm. Proceeds support local charities that combat issues affecting our community such as poverty, food deserts, LGBTQ rights, housing justice, and undocumented youth.
